In Q4 2023, the performance of the top 5 cryptocurrency apps on the Android platform in Egypt showcased diverse trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Cryptomania —Trading Simulator from Edusystems OU saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 92.4K in the final week of December. Weekly active users also surged, reaching around 165.8K by the end of the quarter. Revenue, however, remained relatively stable, fluctuating between $1 and $6 weekly.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, with numbers climbing from 5.8K in late September to a high of 60.1K in mid-November. Weekly active users showed a steady upward trend, peaking at 17.7K in the last week of December.

Sweat Wallet had a varied performance in downloads, with a notable spike to 28.3K in late November. Active users also increased, reaching a peak of 63.7K in early December before settling at 55.5K by the end of the quarter.

Bybit: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto showed moderate growth in downloads, peaking at 6.2K in late November. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase to around 15K in early December.

OKX: Buy Bitcoin BTC & Crypto had a gradual increase in downloads, reaching 4.2K in mid-December. Active users saw a steady rise, peaking at 8.9K in the same period before dropping slightly to 8.2K by the end of December.
